Thousands of disabled people from across Britain marched on Westminster today against the Tory/Liberal (the nasty party and its ally) coalition government
Participants said the Hardest Hit protest was the "biggest disabled march in living memory" at an estimated 5,000 people, inspired by the coalition's attempt to strip disabled people of their homes, food and mobility to pay for the bankers' recession.
"You can have my benefits if you take away my mental illness"
"Don't condemn us to isolation"
"Don't push us into poverty"
"We need support, we need care, don't take away our welfare"
