  1. What Is to Be Done?

The Conservative/Liberal coalition government will say there is no alternative despite a probable double-dip recession at the World Economic Forum in Davos. According to George Osborne ‘‘the future will favour the bold and if we are bold enough the prize will be worth the effort, nothing less than a new model of sustainable growth’’ this should be what the Broad Left are saying if we are bold then we can win and the prize will be a fair and sustainable economic model, not one that looks after the rich and powerful at the expense of the poor and weak that’s the left alternative that should be our answer to David Cameron, Nick Clegg and George Osborne.

  2. A cunning plan, giving the impression they have a large presence, I guess this is what the anarchists are doing considering the prominence of the Red/Black flags at the demonstrations these days.

  4. European Union and the British Left

Dose it serve any purpose to continue to oppose the European Union, should socialists continue to be anti-Europe or should they unite with the European Left against the current neo-liberal agenda of the EU in the same way they oppose the neo-liberal agenda of the Tory/Liberal coalition. Should the Alliance for Green Socialism, Communist Party of Britain and Socialist Party affiliate to the European Left or stay separate in the battle against the neo-liberal/neo-conservative agenda of the EU, IMF, WTO and World Bank. What are the options for the British Left when Britain is a member state of the EU, World Bank, World Trade Organization and International Monetary Fund?
